No matter how hard things get and how dark or steep your road may be, as long as you don’t give up on others but most importantly yourself, you will always find a light at the end of the tunnel. 

I feel like we’ve all lost touch with how fragile and how precious life is, of how much the little things really matter to us. We go by day to day, forgetting to eat cause we’ve got more important things to do, like earn some good green $$$ so that we can buy ourselves nice things.

It’s like Our entire society has been bred to believe that to achieve happiness we need to have more than others, we need to have the latest I pod to reach 7 points of happiness, but that will only last you for about 2 weeks, after that you NEED to buy those new shoes that cost $330, then you can be happy again for another 3 weeks or so.

I mean, It’s not like the world is in absolute need of help right now, it’s not like with $300 that you probably spent on shoes, or the $500 you spent on that new cell phone you needed couldn’t of gone to save 1000’s of peoples lifes. I mean there are 100,000’s of people in Africa dying of sickness because they can’t cost medicine that can be provided for under $1

But to our society, life means nothing. Cause our ‘NEEDS’ like having an $80 t shirt or going out 5 nights week and spending $300 on alcohol to get fucked is more important to us than saving the lifes of others. well Of course they’re not in our country it doesn’t matter. I mean we Could all be saving hundreds of thousands of peoples lifes, its possible to fix the poverty in africa, it’s not really that hard. Look at America, New Zealand, UK, China, Russia… Yeah things are bad in some of these places, but they still have built up great countries from what? What did we start with? A bit of Dirt, some plants, trees… Nothing…. EVERYTHING we have today has come from this earth… But we can’t be fucked to help others. I mean, we’d rather let 10 people die for a quick cup of coffee in the morning.

This is what worries me, and I’m no exception. I want to do something but it’s something we really have to start working together to fix.. I don’t think people realize but… All we have today is falling apart, our systems are failing, our Earth is dying but yet, we don’t seem to care, all that matters to us now is ourselves, you live for yourself, you make money for yourself, you make every decision based on what’s best for you. Well maybe that’s why there are so many natural Disasters and everything’s going so bad for Us, Mother Nature is sick of all our shit and giving it back just as much.

Yeah Boohoo lots of Dead people in Christchurch, But lets forget all the other people and animals we’re killing and that are dying from things that COULD have been prevented.

These a saying older than time that goes, you get what you give. So if the worlds starts trying to exterminate us, don’t be surprised, we’ve almost killed it. I think it’s about time it makes it’s move, I mean it’s wiped us out many times before, who says it won’t again?

I’m not trying to be insensitive, but what makes 65 peoples deaths that couldn’t be prevented more important than the Millions we could have saved in so many other instances? What makes 1 life more important than another? I can’t see any good reason, but because its not RIGHT in your face and its easy enough to turn a blind eye most people just won’t give a care in the world.

If we don’t start working together, as one people, as a world and doing what we should be doing rather than what we want to be doing, there won’t be a world left for us. Most of you see a future, but the fact is, right now there is no future, if we don’t change literally now, we lose… Again, like many times before.

Ask yourself this…

Is it really going to have to take all your loved ones dying around you to start making change? Is it really going to have to take a near end world catastrophic event to get our shit together?

Because right now we’re killing the very Body we live on, Earth… If she goes… We all go with her.
